First off I want to say that I have some of the best friends a girl could ever ask for. They are always there for me and when i'm down and out they're there for me even more. I can't believe alex is already 15 months old. It seems like he was just a newborn baby yesterday. I really miss him being that young but I absolutely love the age that he's at. He's walking, laughing and riding the mini four wheeler that my parents got him for Christmas. We're starting to think he might be left handed because his right hand seems weaker than his left. For instance to use the mini four wheeler he has to push a button with his right hand but he tends to sit side saddle so to speak and use his left hand to push it. He doesn't seem to have the strength to push it and hold it in with his right hand.

But anyway.. so this upcoming week I have my child observation lab for class and on top of that on thursday i'm going for my driving test. I'm kinda worried about the driving test but my grandma hanson is letting me use her car for the test. Grandma is so sweet.. I feel so bad for her because she fell and broke her hip a few weeks ago. She's doing fine now but she comes home next week and she needs someone to get her to doctors appointments and stuff after that. So hopefully i'll get my license so I can help her out with all that. She's going to let me use her car once in a while as long as i pay for my own gas and stuff.

I don't know what else to talk about so I guess this is it..

Johnson Creek- Johnson Creek, WI is the city that I live just outside of. It is a small interstate town that really sucks. I much prefer Jefferson but oh well.. It does have a pretty cool outlet mall though and we're 30 miles from madtown and 50 miles from milwaukee.


Furry Bowling- Hm.. I love to go to furry bowling. It's where I first really got to know Samii and It's how I know most of LAFF. I don't go very often but when I do go I love to fursuit.

Snowstorm- that last snowstorm was annoying!! 7 inches of the fluffy white stuff = me go blah. *headdesks* i liked snow more when i was little and i went snowmobiling every winter

Long Distance Relationship- MOst of the relationships I've been in have been long distance. I hate it but i don't mind being in them.

Young Parenthood- I don't consider myself a really young parent but at 21 years old i'm one of the younger ones of my friends that have children.

This has been done many many times by many many people but I don't think it could be said enough.

I've always felt that my spirit animal chose me rather than me choosing my spirit animal but i' ve always felt close to the snow leopard.  I believe that i follow that animal the closest and that that is where my feelings lie.

So today I got the phone call about my Thyroid levels. They are low and the doctor put me on a medication. Thyroxine or something like that.

My family had our Christmas early on the 20th. I got to see my nephew for the first time in a year and it was my sons first real Christmas where he had any idea of what was going on. My brother and his fiance came over and opened presents and had lunch with us.

A bunch of assorted things that i can't remember but those were most of my big gifts.

Today christmas morning brought a flurry of activity at Andy's parents house. We had lunch and then opened presents this afternoon. I got some shirts from his grandparents and a lotion set from his parents. Of course andy didn't get me anything and covered it up with some excuse. Real nice..

Ya know.. today made me realize why I love the fandom as much as I do. To me it's like a second family. With what calientra and spectravixen and the rest of their family are going through right now and how tightly we've all banded around them to pray and be there for them as much as possible. It's amazing how in a bad situation we can be like a big family..

For those who hadn't heard by other means, spectravixen has been a in very bad auto accident, this morning.calientra is updating us as she can, by voice post. Latest post is http://butterscotchvix.livejournal.com/290554.html It's about as bad as it gets right now. She mentions that they've already given her 25 units of blood and were unable to save her arm, and it doesn't sound like she's stable yet. Pass the word on to those who may be out of the loop and may know her.

Yeah.. long weekend.

Friday

We left here friday morning and got to the Westin about.. 11:30 am. We decided to take Alex with us and that was a treat because everyone just loved him. We got registered and headed to opening ceremonies. We spent quite a bit of time wandering around talking to people and getting food in the con suite and just stuff like that. We got our hotel room at 3 pm and got our stuff unloaded there and Silver and Alex stayed there to take a nap while I took the shuttle over to the main hotel. I went to 2 and Kage's shows and just did a lot of socializing.

Saturday

Saturday was fun, Got into fursuit and did the parade and the pictures and stuff. Got overheated so i went back to the fursuit lounge. I LOVE the new hotel but I HATE how far the fursuit lounge was from the rest of everything. I don't remember a lot of that day but I did go to the Variety show and i did a lot of suiting and socializing.

Sunday

Today I got into suit for the fursuit games and then decided that i'm going to commission Taren for a bodysuit and i'm going to make the rest of it for next year. Bubblegum is officially retired now. She's falling apart and i just can't fix her anymore. I went to the closing ceremonies and all sorts of stuff. Got 2 badges commissioned.

The weekend went by really really fast and it was hard to believe that Alex's first convention was over so fast.

Silver, Alex and I will be at MFF in.. about 2 hours!!! See ya there!
