So today I got the phone call about my Thyroid levels. They are low and the doctor put me on a medication. Thyroxine or something like that.

hi - just stumbled here from your rply to my post on parenting101 - just wanted to let you know that about the same thing happened to me - about 7 month after giving birth, my thyroid levels dropped (hypothyroidism), and I was put on Synthroid (levothyroxine). I almost immediately had more energy, and lost some weight.. I'm still on it, 2.5 years later - I went to an endocrinologist who confirmed that I do indeed need to be on this med for the rest of my life - but I'd recommend for you to go to an endo and make sure that you really need to be on it.
